- AFRO NATION GHANA
Laboma Beach, Just five miles south of Accra’s Kotoka International Airport, will turn into a festival paradise to hold the first-ever edition of Afro Nation Ghana. The biggest urban music beach festival in Europe focused at celebrating all things afrobeat, hip-hop, UK rap, reggae and dancehall, is set to make its way to Ghana for the first ever African edition. The Africa Edition of Afro Nation Festival which will take place in Ghana’s capital Accra will bring together the global African community between December 27 and 30. It is without doubt that the event is will be one of the hottest, looking at the number of artist to perform.
Afrochella is a celebration of Africa’s diverse culture and the vibrant work of African creatives and entrepreneurs. The festival is designed to elevate and highlight the thrilling and thriving millennial talent in Africa by introducing an interactive event that teaches, explains and explores various culture with a pioneering approach. *Afrochellans* will experience art and creative activations from the continent; celebrate African music and the taste premium cultured cuisine. This years Afrochella take place on the 28 December at the El Wak Sports Stadium.
3. THE V for VANITY SHOW: NEON LIGHTS EDITION
The V for Vanity show aims to explore daily socio-economic issues that affect everyday Africans through the concept of “VANITY”. The installations from the December/January edition touches on the adverse effects of white colonialism and media on the African/Ghanaian mind. Between 20th December to 5th January IT’S A CALL FOR GHANAIANS TO MAKE MORE EFFORT TO CREATE ORIGINAL, ENGAGING CONTENT. This event takes place at Mhoseenu Design Studio in Accra.

The 2019 Black Gala will be taking place in The Museum of Science and Technology.
