By the end of the first half of the game, the match was over for Sevilla even though they could have staged a comeback. However, it seemed this was but a nightmare after they stood and watched how their net was being abused with an avalanche of goals.

Luiz Suarez opened the floodgate of goals scoring with a superb hit 27 minutes into the game, with Arturo Vidal and Ousmane Dembele respectively securing a comfortable lead for Cartlands.

As usual, the Fifa 2019 Best player, Lionel Messi completed the trouncing with a sweet free-kick later on in the game.

After a nasty tackle as the last man, 20-year-old debutant, Ronald Araujo, brought down Javier Hernandez and was red carded – Dembele in turn was shown a second yellow card for dissent in the aftermath.
