#BET: Soul Train Awards 2019

The 2019 Soul Train Music Awards took place and aired live for the first time on November 17. At the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on BET and BET Her on November 17th. It was hosted by Tisha Campbell & Tichina Arnold, honoring artists in 12 different categories.

The 2019 BET Soul Train Awards, live from the Orleans Arena in Paradise, NV, honors the biggest stars in soul, R&B and hip-hop.

  1. Summer Walker nabs the award for Best New Artist.  
  2. Trevor Jackson walks away with the Soul Train Certified Award.  
  3. H.E.R. wins the award for Best R&B/Soul Female Artist.  
  4. Khalid nabs the Best R&B/Soul Male Artist award.  
  5. Chris Brown’s track “No Guidance” featuring Drake wins Song of the Year.  
  6. Kirk Franklin takes home the Best Gospel/Inspirational Award.
  7. Cardi B scores the Rhythm & Bars Award for her hit “Money.”  
  8. Chris Brown nabs the Best Collaboration Performance award for “No Guidance” featuring Drake.  
  9. Lizzo takes home the prize for Video of the Year for “Juice.”  
  10. Lizzo secures the Album/Mixtape of the Year award for “Cuz I Love You.”  
  11. Beyoncé wins The Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award for “Brown Skin Girl.”  
  12. Chris Brown’s track “No Guidance” earns him the Best Dance Performance award.
