A fourth coronavirus related death has reportedly been recorded in Ghana’s capital, Accra.
This is according to Worldometer, an international team of researchers and volunteers monitoring the pandemic globally.
Earlier on Wednesday, March 25, Ghana recorded its third coronavirus death.
The third death had occurred at the 37 Military Hospital and involved the wife of a two-star general, officials of the Ghana Health Service had announced.
The sudden increase in case incidence is as a result of the mandatory quarantine and compulsory testing for all travellers entering Ghana, as directed by the President.
The government is yet to issue further details on how its tackling the pandemic meanwhile various institutions are calling for a nationwide lockdown.
