Some parts of the Accra Academy recorded sever structural damage and loss of property on Wednesday January 15, 2020 by both school and students after fire gutted parts of the school.
Although no lives were lost, some students are likely to be sent home due to the complete loss of two of its boarding facilities.
The affected halls namely the Halm-Addo Hall and the Alema Hall were two of the oldest halls that was first built to house students on campus.
According to reliable sources, school authorities and NADMO have being assessing the damages and counting their losses in the aftermath of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
