Finally, Kelvyn boy has come out to explain what occurred on June 4th, when he was adjudged to have snubbed fellow act, Wendy Shay at the Marriot Hotel during the “Shatta Stone” Unity Press briefing.
It would be recalled that Shatta and Stonebwoy had a Unity press briefing on June 4, 2019, where the two dancehall rivals, smoked the peace pipe publicly and announced their Unity concert at the same event. However, towards the end of the program when the musicians were exchanging pleasantries with each other, what appeared to the eyes seemed to be an obvious snub of songstress and New Artiste of the year in the just ended Ghana Music Awards of the year. In an interview with Phylx on the Vision One Gh You tube channel, the “Under the under the lielie” chanter has come out to explain what happened on the day.
“This was what happened, Wendy said hi, I shook Bullet, so as I tried to shake her, my boss stretched his hand, and I also reached out for his hand, and that was how I left her side. I shook my manager and Bullet and had to rush because there was going to be a photo shoot and I didn’t want to miss it. I have no problems with Wendy Shay. We are cool, just that people misread her facial expressions as a snub”.
However, in a twist of events, the boss of “Rufftown Records” Ricky Nana Agyemang, who is known is showbiz circles as Bullet, has raised some allegations against the Burnington music signee, concerning an a purported snub on Wendy Shay. It is alleged that he claims Kelvyn boy did that out of envy.
