Medikal finally reveals inspiration behind his ‘Wrowroho’ song


2019 VGMA Rapper of the Year nominee, Medikal, has opened up for the first time the inspiration behind some of his recent smash hits songs.

Interacting with Lexis Bill on the “Behind The Fame” show on Joy FM, he divulged that just like the cliché goes ‘behind every successful man there’s a woman’ his curvaceous actress girlfriend and best friend Fella Makafui inspired him greatly to record the street anthem ‘Wo To Nono’ and other songs.

According to Medikal, smash hits from his camp such as ‘Ayekoo’, and ‘Omo ada’ were all inspired by the YOLO famed actress.

“My girlfriend inspires me in a lot of ways, I preach my lifestyle and anything I say is actually true, I talk about money, car, some lifestyle and my girlfriend are all true, she inspired me to do songs like ‘Ayekoo’ ‘Aboa wo to nono’ I will like to preach the reality…,”

He noted that he only flaunts things that he owns on social media to motivate his fans, saying, “Anything Medikal says or flaunts is true, I won’t post Roseros and say is mine because I don’t have it, I talk about the little that I have, I want motivate my fans so if I flaunt Range Rover or Mercedes, I don’t just flaunt it, I have it.

The 27-year-old rapper drew parallels between himself and the head honcho of the Shatta Movement empire Shatta Wale with regards to flaunting their wealth on social media.

Samuel Adu Frimpong, who goes by the moniker Medikal is a known Ghanaian Hip Hop and Hiplife artist who has changed the face of the Ghanaian music industry.

Medikal was signed into the Arab Money Gang (AMG Record Label), owned by Criss Waddle of R2B Fame in the year 2010.
